UPDATED 3/4/2024
Come volunteer at the North Bay Science Discovery Day, a one-day public free science festival designed to spark children's wonder and curiosity for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. With over 70 organizations and 100 hands-on interactive exhibits, explore rockets and beehives, robots and sharks, catapults and hearts, animation, animals, and art, and more. Meet and talk to professional scientists and engineers.
Each volunteer must fill out a liability and sign up form. Our group will be doing the 10:00am-1:00pm: Exhibitor Assistance and Attendee Support slot. In the field labeled "How did you hear about volunteering? (for example, list an organization. Or list a marketing outlet.)" make sure to answer that you are with JLNS and want to be grouped together. We will send out more instructions when it gets closer.
Parking is free and this event will be held rain or shine. Volunteers must be 18 years old.
