How Do We Choose Projects?
Junior League Napa-Sonoma project work

Junior League of Napa-Sonoma develops projects after careful consideration and research of an unmet community need that falls within the emphasis on positively impacting the lives of children and families.

Each project provides initial and ongoing training to the members as well as high-quality service to its clients.

Our projects are usually done in collaboration with another community group. After working with local nonprofit organizations to achieve specific goals and objectives, a League project is then turned over to the community agency or group best suited to maintain it.

PROJECTS CAN RECEIVE TWO KINDS OF JLNS SUPPORT:

A CORE OF TRAINED, ENTHUSIASTIC VOLUNTEERS

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE THROUGH GRANTS AND OTHER DONATIONS

DONE IN A DAY INITIATIVE

Through our Done in a Day initiative, JLNS members can donate a single day of service to complete meaningful, hands-on projects that directly support our community.

These bite-sized projects are designed to fit into busy lives while still offering members the chance to make a lasting difference in just one day. Learn more about Done In A Day, or explore our other initiatives, below.
